The service
heicjpgpng.com is a free online tool that converts HEIC and HEIF photos, as well as other common image formats, into JPG, PNG, PDF and WebP. The conversion takes place locally in your web browser; your files are not uploaded to our servers. How we handle data is described in our privacy policy.
Using the site is free of charge and requires no account. By using it, you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Provided “as is”
We work hard to make the converter reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In particular, we do not guarantee that:
- the site will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free;
- every file can be converted (some rare or damaged HEIC variants may fail);
- the results will meet a specific purpose, such as the requirements of a particular printer, authority or website.
We may change, suspend or discontinue features of the site at any time.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the files you convert. Only convert photos and documents that you own or have the right to use, and respect the privacy and rights of the people shown in them. You are also responsible for how you use the converted files afterwards.
Acceptable use
Please use the site the way it is meant to be used. You agree not to:
- attempt to disrupt, overload or attack the site or its infrastructure;
- use automated means to access the site in a way that harms its availability for others;
- copy, resell or present the site as your own service;
- use the site for any unlawful purpose.
Keep your originals
Because the conversion happens on your device, we never have a copy of your files and cannot recover them. Always keep your original photos until you have checked the converted files. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, lost files, or direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site.
Advertising and third-party links
The site shows advertisements, which help keep it free. Ads and external links are provided by third parties; we are not responsible for their content, products or services. Your cookie choices are explained in the privacy policy and can be changed via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Intellectual property
The site’s design, texts and code belong to their respective owners. The converter uses open-source components, such as libheif, under their own licences. Your photos remain entirely yours – using the site gives us no rights to them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
